AJMI – Doha

Al Jazeera Media Institute signed a collaboration agreement with Qatar Civil Aviation Authority on January 15 in the institute headquarter in Doha.

The agreement fosters exchange of media expertise between the two entities; including training, consultations, seminars, and workshops.

In his speech during the signing ceremony, Hamad Al-Kuwari, Manager of Services at QCAA, expressed his pleasure to sign such an agreement and the forthcoming training which would enhance and sharpen the media and communicational skills of the authority’s employees. He said he was looking forward to strengthening the work relations between the two institutions.

In turn, Munir Daymi, Director of AJMI, referred to the agreement as an extension to other agreements that have been signed previously with a number of local institutions and organizations in Qatar. He underscored the importance of such agreements, especially under the status quo, which requires developing the media skills and sharpening the professional performance of the local cadres to rise to the media ethics and standards on the credibility, gravity, and high performance.
