The Public Relations Officer (PRO)

The PRO's role calls for developing communications objectives that are consistent with the organization’s overall objectives. As two-way communicator, the PRO interacts directly with key publics, creates, manages and maintains long-term relationships with different organisations.  

PR Mission

  • Establishing, organizing and implementing media strategies, internal and external public media programs and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships public and private organisations.
  • Compiling, classifying and preparing documents intended for internal and external audience.
  • Conducting studies and investigative reports on the public opinion and trends to identify the benefits and interests.
  • Preparing reports, notes, presentations and contents of webpage and press releases.
  • Preparing and organizing workshops, meetings and special event ceremonies related to promotion and advertising.
  • Building and maintaining strong relations with the media.
  • Taking necessary preparations for meetings and press conferences.
  • Acting as an official Spokesman to give verbal and written information.
  • Coordinating advertising programs and communications tools that will most effectively engage internal and external audiences.
  • Editing publications, media reports, statements, press releases and other documents.
  • Preparing and signing agreements with writers, artists, athletes among others.
