AJMI SIGNS AN MOU WITH OMAN LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS

Al Jazeera Media Institute and Oman Liquefied Natural Gas LLC (Oman LNG) signed a memorandum of Understanding in the field of implementing media services and training. The MoU was signed by Eman Al Amri, Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute, and Dr. Amer bin Nasser Al Mutaani, CEO of Omani LNG's Development Corporation.

Eman Al Amri, the Institute's director, praised the Memorandum's signing and cooperation with its friends from Oman. She mentioned that the two organizations work to create human cadres and equip them with the required abilities, particularly in the media sector. She emphasized how eager the Al Jazeera Media Institute is to develop and energize its relationships with both national and international institutions.

For his part, Dr. Amer expressed his joy at the memorandum's signing and emphasized the value of utilizing Al Jazeera Media Network's experience in the area of training media professionals and establishing human cadres.

Dr. Amer added, "We expect that this engagement will be beneficial and enriching for both sides," while referring to the memorandum of cooperation as a "long-term partnership."

The areas of cooperation between the two parties include training courses included in the Institute's annual plan, special courses required by the company, in addition to the production of promotional and documentary videos through the Institute's production unit, media consultations, seminars, conferences and joint workshops.

It is important to note that the two parties swapped commemorative shields after signing the memorandum.​​​
