Al Jazeera Media Institute has launched the "Best Article award for Aljazeera Journalism review" to celebrate creative articles that create unique ideas and stories from the heart of everyday practice. The award honors serious work characterized by deep research, and the authenticity of the journalism profession, in a seamless narrative style and is not considered redundancy. It also recognizes the efforts of journalists who tell authentic stories about new transformations in digital journalism.

The winner will be given the opportunity to participate in one of Al Jazeera Media Institute courses in Doha. The Institute will covers travel expenses and accommodation in Qatar for the duration of the course.

The competition targets journalists, journalism and media students in colleges and institutes, and researchers in the field of journalism. The jury includes members of the press magazine team, journalists and academics from Al Jazeera Media Network.​
