Bio

Meriem Belalia has been an anchor for news and political programs at Al Jazeera since 2010, where she presents news bulletins and hosts talk shows. Over the years, she has participated in live coverage of various Arab and international events and engaged in field reporting in Yemen, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Thailand, and Mauritania. Meriem has conducted interviews with political figures, officials, ministers, as well as heads of state and government for special programs and news coverage. In addition to her anchoring responsibilities, Meriem also serves as a trainer at the Al Jazeera Media Institute, delivering training courses in Morocco, Tunisia, and Mauritania. Her extensive experience has equipped her with strong skills in handling urgent coverage and managing lengthy conversations with multiple guests.
