Bio

Ahmed Taha began working with Al Jazeera in March 2011 at its headquarters in Cairo, which allowed him to cover many of the events that followed the Egyptian revolution, including the referendum on the constitution, the first parliamentary and presidential elections after the revolution, as well as the period preceding the military coup in Egypt. In mid-2013, he moved to work from Doha at Al Jazeera Mubasher Egypt, then transitioned to Al Jazeera Mubasher, which allowed him to cover important events at that time, such as the first presidential elections in Tunisia. After that, he covered the Sudanese revolution as a member of the Al Jazeera Mubasher team in Khartoum, where he conducted many interviews with key Sudanese figures who assumed power after the revolution. The most prominent interview was with the President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
