Bio

Rita Khan is a journalist and TV presenter who currently hosts the program "About Cinema", which focuses on the film industry and its latest technologies. The program has won 17 international awards, most notably the Gold Telly Award for Best Cultural Program in 2021. She also produces and presents weekly YouTube episodes that explore the latest releases and cinematic topics, showcasing her critical thinking skills. Rita began her media career as a presenter with Al Jazeera Children's Channel, hosting a variety of programs on sports, cooking, tourism, design, and eventually cinema. She has taken on multiple roles, including preparing and presenting news, conducting interviews, and filming in and outside studios.

- Hosted the programs "About Cinema" and "Rita’s Reviews" on Al Jazeera platforms – (2019 – 2024). - Presented the sports program "World Cup 101" on the Al Jazeera O2 platform – (2022). - Produced and presented tourism reports for the program "This Morning" on Al Jazeera Channel – (2017 – 2018). - Hosted the Ramadan show "Ramadan Ma’na Ahla" on Al Araby TV – (2015). - Presented the program "Faces of Sports" on Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (Jeem) – (2014 – 2015).
