Ameera Ahmad Harouda is the first woman fixer in Gaza, Palestine. She has been helping journalists cover the hidden stories of her country and people for over a decade. Through her work, she intends to show the world what is happening in her community and challenge the image of Palestine often depicted in mainstream Western media. She believes in struggling every day to provide women and girls in Gaza with equal access to education and employment.
