Aljazeera Media Institute, in partnership with the Center for the Protection and Freedom of Journalists in Amman, organized a course on " Digital Journalistic Story Building " presented by Elia Gharbia from AJ+ Arabic team.

The course dealt with the most important theoretical and practical stages of developing and directing digital video content, and identifying the artistic template for stories and treating them to suit audience of each platform.

The course was attended by 25 trainees from different media organizations, and aimed to improve the necessary skills required to produce a digital content that reflects the needs of the audience, with a special focus on writing, directing and artistic and creative production of the story.

It is noteworthy that this course comes as a part of the activities of "Aljazeera Ambassadors" initiative, a pioneering non-profit initiative launched by Aljazeera Media Institute in 2012 to train young media cadres inside and outside Arab world. As the main vision of the Initiative is to communicate Aljazeera Media Network message and values, and to transfer expertise and skills of Aljazeera staff through free training courses to empower media talent around the world.
