Sara Creta
Sara Creta is an award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker with extensive experience of investigating human rights abuses. She has directed and produced on the ground from Sudan, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, DRC, Libya, Chad, Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia, the Gaza Strip and a rescue ship in the Mediterranean. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Al Jazeera, the BBC, Euronews, ARTE, ZDF, the New Humanitarian and others. In 2018, She was awarded a Marie Sklodowska Curie fellowship to conduct research at the Institute for Future Media, Democracy and Society at Dublin City University. Her scholarly work focuses on the intersection of technology, transitional justice, human rights law and fundamental freedoms.
