Hauwa Shaffii Nuhu is currently the Managing Editor at HumAngle Media. Her journalism examines the human cost of terrorism and insurgencies, as they relate to transitional justice issues, migration, and displacement.
She is a 2018 writer-in-residence at Ebedi Writers Residency, a 2022 Storify Africa Fellow, a 2023 Pulitzer Centre grantee, and a 2023 International Women’s Media Fund (IWMF) grantee.
