Al jazeera Media Institute is contributing to the Seventh International University Debate Championship in Arabic language, held from 24 to 29 May 2024 as the media partner for the championship.

In this context, Eman Al Ameri, Director of Al jazeera Media Institute, said: "For the second consecutive year, we are pleased to be the media partner of the Seventh International University Debate Championship in Arabic language, and this partnership reflects the deep commitment of Al jazeera Media Institute to its efforts and endeavors to promote educational and cultural dialogue.

Al Ameri pointed out her great belief on importance of university discussions which will eventually add great value to local and global community, and expressed her appreciation for this important opportunity and contributing to this event.

It worth to be mentioned that media partnership meant to provide coverage of tournament on digital platforms of the Institute, in addition to the role of Institute’s production unit which will document tournament activities in still photos and videos. Also the Institute will provide an interactive television studio on the sidelines of the tournament to help people try and practice dialogue techniques with an expert from Al jazeera Media Institute in the field of television presentation.

It is worth noting that the Seventh International University Debate Championship in Arabic language, organized by Qatar Debate, is one of the largest international championships that brings together debating students from different countries and continents of the world.
