951 training course and 7477 trainees for AJMI in 2024

Al Jazeera Media Institute round off the year 2024 with outstanding achievements in the field of media training, proving its leading position in developing skills of media professionals and enhancing their professional competencies in accordance with the latest international standards. During the past year, the institute launched 591 training courses, including public courses open to public at large, on demand tailored courses for institutions and companies, special programs designed for network employees, in addition to programs of " Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative" which achieved an increase of 13% compared to last year.

Thes courses achieved total participation of 7,477 trainees, including 2,586 trainees from Qatar, reflecting the great diversity of training programs offered by the institute to match needs of various trainees at the local and international levels. At Al Jazeera Media Network level, 1,239 employees benefited from the professional development programs specifically designed by the Institute to raise efficiency of employees of the Network and the Institute as well. 
Since its inception in February 2004, the institute has delivered more than 7,000 training courses for about 83,000 trainees of different nationalities. More than 22,000 Al Jazeera employees have received training over the past twenty-one years, underscoring the Institute's role in refining skills of media professionals and enhancing their professional expertise.
The Institute's achievements are not limited to holding courses and number of trainees, but also include providing advanced quality training content that keeps pace with the latest trends in digital media and artificial intelligence technologies.
