Aleeha Zahra Ali is a Pakistani anthropologist and researcher based in the Netherlands. She is currently working at the research network, Mediating Islam in the Digital Age (ITN-MIDA), and as a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam.
Her research focuses on embodiment, phenomenology, experience, digitisation, knowledge and religion. This academic approach is informed by a Bachelors in Sociology from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan and a Research Masters at the University of Exeter, UK.
