Course Description

With the evolution of documentary television programs both in the Arab world and internationally, it has become essential for producers, directors, and creators of documentaries to possess competitive global professional tools. Therefore, this course has been designed through practical exercises to enable trainees to acquire the fundamental knowledge needed for producing high-quality television documentary programs. Those basics are informative or humanistic, political or social, both in terms of content and form, according to international market standards.

• Write and develop ideas and scenarios for television documentary programs.
• Plan for documentary production and field filming.

- Camera and using the microphone.
- Fundamentals of interviewing art.

• Post-production phases:
- Scenario building in television documentary programs.
- Writing and recording documentary commentary.
- Fundamentals of editing and music.
- Information verification and evaluation of the first program copy.
- Visual, audio, graphics, coloring, and final touches effects.
- Plan the show for broadcasting or publishing.
