Course Description

In media work, the effectiveness of a message is not measured only by what is said, but also by how it is expressed. Facial expressions, eye contact, body posture, gestures, as well as the way one stands and moves on camera, all play a crucial role in building credibility, trust, and first impressions with the audience.

Course Objective

By the end of this course, participants will:
• Explain the role of body language in constructing media messages.
• Use body language techniques to enhance on-camera presence.
• Achieve alignment between verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Use facial expressions, gestures, and eye contact to support media messages.
• Analyze non-verbal cues of guests and audiences in media contexts.

• On-camera media presence:
- Body posture for media professionals on camera (standing, balance, head position, etc.).

• Integration of voice and body:
- Alignment between tone of voice and gestures.
- Avoid contradictions between spoken and non-verbal messages.
- Manage emotions on camera.
