Course Description

DaVinci Resolve is the only system that allows professional editors, colorists, visual effects artists, and sound engineers to work on the same project at the same time in one software tool.

Course Objective

By the end of this course, participants will:
• Start a project with correct settings for any type of video clips.
• Prepare and organize materials for editing.
• Record audio and edit footage professionally.
• Correct colors and add visual effects.

Course Outline

• Organize projects in DaVinci Resolve:
- Getting to know the program interface.
- Organizing a new project.

• Initial preparation:
- Entering materials into the program.
- Introduction to montage via the Cut Page.
- Sound mixing on the Cut Page.
- Adding visual effects and transitions between shots.

• Editing footage and audio:
- Make a preliminary montage on the Edit Page.
- Editing footage and repairing parts.
- Working with sound on the Edit Page.
- Mixing, sound processing, and voiceover recording via the Fairlight page.

• Design and final output:
- Add visual effects via the Fusion page.
- Basic color correction using the Color page.
- Export your final project in different formats to suit different needs.
- Manage finished projects, project materials and organize your projects database.
