Course Description

"All those working in the glass industry use sand, fire, and blowing, but they don't produce the same cups." The previous sentence emphasizes the creative spirit in journalism, meaning that journalism is no longer just a routine descriptive process of reporting on an interesting event. It has evolved into an industry that requires a lot of training, professionalism, and creativity, whether in collecting, preparing, and distributing news in an era where technological advancements in communication are progressing rapidly. Journalism is a craft that is not fundamentally different from any other craft, such as blacksmithing, carpentry, and others. The difference between one blacksmith and another, one carpenter and another, lies in the amount of creativity they use with their tools.
