Course Description
The phenomenon of misinformation and false news is not new, but its impact and circulation, especially through open sources, particularly social media and messaging apps, make the task of verifying content essential for journalists, researchers, and anyone dealing with information from open sources, regardless of its origin or source.
This training course enables participants to understand the basic principles of exploring content published on open sources, verifying it, and using it ethically. It also covers the implementation of effective workflow tasks in the newsroom.

• Use news gathering and verification tools.
• Identify and implement a workflow plan.
