Course Description

Perhaps fame, stardom, and daily appearances on television screens are tempting to many, but they are not the essence of this profession. Television presenting is a significant responsibility, as the visual presence of the presenter on the screen represents the visual identity of the TV channel. Additionally, the presenter is the one who forms the visual communication channel with viewers and thus gains their trust. This course is designed to place the younger generation in front of the challenges and great responsibility facing the television presenters.

Course Objective

By the end of this course, participants will:
• Define the fundamentals of television presenting.
• Develop television presenting skills.
• Distinguish between news programs and talk shows.

Course Outline

• Fundamentals of TV work:
- Key television terminology and visit the studio.
- TV presenter's role and the different types of television programs.
- TV production team and their roles.

• TV presenter:
- Important qualities of a TV presenter.
- Basics of voice clarity for TV.
- Physical attributes of a TV presenter.
- Key tools and equipment used by presenters, such as the autocue, earpiece, and microphones.

• Diverse TV programs:
- Basics of a news presenter.
- Effective news delivery and reading.
- Mastering dialogue with guests in talk shows.
