Within the activities of “Media for Development Initiative”, Al Jazeera Media Institute organised a training program on how to deal with media the during the first week of November.

Journalist Zain al-Abidin Tawfiq trained 12 Palestinian journalists based in Europe on basic rules required for dealing with various media outlets, including television interviews and press conferences. The course provides participants with skills required for preparing and conducting successful interviews to achieve objective goals.

The course also included a lecture by Hala Abed, a lawyer and human rights defender in the field of human rights, on media mobilization tools. Hala also made an introductory tour to Al Jazeera Media Institute, AJ+ platform and the Digital Sector of Al Jazeera Media Network.

Course participants praised the experience of Al Jazeera Media Network during the past 27 years in all fields, especially news and training, in addition to the personal benefit from the training program which give them the opportunity to know about the Institute's experience in the field of training and development.
