Al Jazeera Media Institute is carrying on with its activities and contributions to Katara summer camp. Where it held Young Media Translator workshop presented by Yusuf Awad for 26 trainees, as part of community partnership between the Institute and Katara Camp.

Given that Al Jazeera Ambassadors’ Initiative contributed to this camp with several media workshops and in this regard Yusuf Awad, trainer of Young Media Translator Workshop, said "We introduced participants to the nature of the young media translator, concept of media translation, its importance, important elements of media translation, in addition to introducing them to the most important qualities of Young Media Translator in order to enable them to translate through practical exercises.

It is noteworthy that the camp will continue until August 7 and there will be another workshop to develop media skills of another group of participants.
