Committed to its efforts to develop and promote skills of young media professionals in Arab Region, Aljazeera Media Institute, in cooperation with Sila Academy, organized a “Future presenter course” in Algeria.

The program targeted 19 children under the supervision of Dr. Rania Al-Jamal, who expressed her great admiration for the enthusiasm of participants, noting that they showed a strong interest to learn to the extent that they did not want to leave the hall after the time was up.

"Despite differences in dialects, I succeeded in maintaining communication using simple Arabic language", said the trainer. She added that the course was really a cultural and educational exchange program, and concluded: "Media is not exclusive to adults, but rather a set of skills that can start from early age if there is a stimulating environment.
The course focused on boosting self-confidence, training participants on proper pronunciation, presenting flyers and interviews, as well as understanding basics of news editing.

Aljazeera Media Institute is keen to offer off-border training courses, believing in importance of supporting media competencies and enhancing communication with the public in the Arab region and beyond. The Institute also seeks to transfer its expertise and provide professional training that keeps pace with the latest standards, in the context of its mission to enhance professionalism and objectivity in media.
