AJMI concludes a course for "Bassma Club"

Within the framework of Al Jazeera Ambassadors’ initiative of Al Jazeera Media Institute, the Institute concluded a "TV Presentation" course at its headquarters in Doha presented by journalist and presenter Sama Al-Saabi.
The two-days course brought together 16 students from Qatar University, who were introduced to basic skills as the first step on their way to the big screen. The course focused on core topics, such as professional TV presentation, confidence-building in front of camera, effective use of body language and mastery of media presence.
Trainer Samaa Al Saabi said: "I am proud to be part of this outstanding initiative that enables promising media talents to explore their potentials and express themselves in a professional way." She pointed out that when she touches participants' passion for learning the fine details that make a person a distinguished presenter on screen, it encourages her to provide the maximum of her experience and skills. She added:" I believe these courses are not just training, but is the beginning of building a new generation of media professionals who can deliver impactful messages honestly and professionally."
For their part, participants expressed their happiness to get this opportunity to learn, noting that the course was an inspiring experience that opened new horizons for them to understand and learn basics of television presentation and media appearance with confidence and professionalism. They also expressed their appreciation for practical interaction that allowed them to practice acquired skills under the supervision of an expert trainer, which reinforced their confidence in their abilities to achieve their media ambitions.
