AJMI concludes its participation in the Doha International Book Fair
AJMI - Doha
The Al Jazeera Media Institute took part in the thirty-second edition of the Doha International Book Fair, which was held from June 12 to June 21.
Eman Al-Amiri, the Director of Al-Jazeera Media Institute, expressed AJMI's consistent commitment to participating in previous editions of the book fair due to its significant literary and cultural value in Qatari and Arab society. The institute has been actively involved in the media and journalism field for twenty-six years.
Hamad Al-Houl Al-Marri, the Director of the Planning and Projects Department, viewed the institute's participation in the book fair as an opportunity to further engage in international and Arab cultural events and meetings, strengthening their ties with the Arab broadcasting community. As a gesture, organizers distributed gifts to the fair's visitors, and attendees at the institute's corner were able to write their names on cards featuring the institute's logo, skillfully handwritten by calligrapher Yassin Hussein.
The institute also organized a workshop during the fair, titled "Creative Writing” that was conducted by Raghda Jamal and attracted individuals interested in the field of literary writing.
