AJMI Launches Digital Media Diploma for 12 Trainees

Al Jazeera Media Institute will launch next Saturday, August 2nd, at its headquarters of in Doha, Digital Media Diploma as a part of a series of accredited diplomas planned for the current year, for 12 male and female trainees.
In this context, trainees registered for the Diploma expressed their keenness to develop their skills in a way that reflects positively on their performance in various media sectors, stressing importance of training exercises to be realistic, practical and applicable in real work environments. Trainee Noor Al Jaber, considered her participation in the diploma as a qualitative opportunity to develop her professional skills in the field of monitoring and content production, in line with the nature of various digital platforms.
The Digital Media Diploma will be supervised by a group of trainers with extensive experience in digital field, where each trainer is entrusted to provide a specially designed training theme that aims to provide participants with the latest knowledge and practical skills.
Trainer Ibrahim Arab presents "Introduction to Digital Media" theme, focusing on basics of digital media, its development and understanding characteristics of digital audience, while trainer Abdullah Al Shehaimi will train "Content editing and digital storytelling", with special focus on editing and storytelling methods for various platforms.
Mr. Hassan Khodari will train participants on "Media verification and monitoring", focusing on tools used for monitoring and verifying information and news in open sources.
Then, Journalist Ahmed Ashour supervises "Journalism of Social Platforms" theme, reviewing content production dedicated to digital platforms, in addition to methods of building interaction and analyzing indicators.
The program then moves on to "Content production generated by Artificial Intelligence tools" theme, under the supervision of Mr. Yahya Selim, where he addresses practical uses of artificial intelligence in production of text, images, audio, and video. Then
expert Ahmed Sabry will present "Digital Marketing and Search Engines" theme, where participants will learn about digital marketing techniques and how to improve appearance of content in search engines.
Expert Makram Kalash will present "Crisis Management on Digital Platforms" theme, focusing on strategies protecting corporate reputation and analyzing digital crises.
The Diploma will be concluded by "Copyrights in Digital Media" theme, which will be presented by trainer Ahmed Ashra, to focus on legal aspects related to copyrights in digital field and how to protect content on various platforms.
This group of trainers strive to provide an integrated learning experiment that blends theory with practice to qualify participants for digital labor market renewed requirements.
