Celebrating the International Human Rights Day, Al Jazeera Media Institute participated in a panel discussion on the book "Alone We Covered the War, press testimonies from Gaza Strip and the West Bank", on Tuesday evening, December 10, at the headquarters of Qatar Press Center. 
The panel discussion was moderated by Salman Youssef, where the discussion was thrilling and gained more momentum by participation of the editor of the book Mohamed Zeidan, photographer Bilal Khaled who covered Gaza war and Al Jazeera journalist Ismail Abu Omar.

The book "Alone We Covered the War" includes testimonies of 16 journalists who represent voice of Palestinian journalists who faced the war and covered it alone after the occupation authorities closed Gaza Strip in the face of international press at a time where Palestinians were almost abandoned by international organizations. It is noteworthy that the book discloses details never heard of.
