The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) announced, signed a cooperation agreement  with Al Jazeera Media Institute to boost co-operation in the field of distinctive media and administrative training courses based on  the highest modern standards.

At the signing ceremony,  Director  of Support Services Sector, Mr. Hamad Lahdan Al Mohannadi signed on behalf of the QOC and Ms. Iman Ahmed Al Aamri, Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute inked on behalf of the Institute, the occasion attended by senior officials from the two organizations.

The agreement will cover the exchange of experience, coaches, experts, data  in the fields of training and development as well as the  organization of    symposiums, conferences, training workshops. The Institute will  set up training programs that meet QOC’s requirements  and providing  valuable training course to QOC’s executive leaders and employees.

In a post-signing statement, Mr. Al Mohannadi appreciated this agreement and said: “ By this common work we can  together provide the  most special  training courses in the field of media , this partnership will help us developing our human cadres and getting  maximum benefit  from Al-Jazeera Network in favor of  the Qatar sport movement”.

Mrs. Eman Al Amri expressed her welcome of this agreement, which comes as part of the institute’s efforts to expand cooperation between it and various government and private institutions in the state of Qatar, and to push towards enhancing the cooperation between the institute and Qatar Olympic Committee.

Al Amri stated that the institute prioritizes contributing to the development of Qatar’s human resources, enabling them with the tools, experiences, and skills required in the field of media work and communication with the public.

The Al Jazeera Media Institute was launched in February 2004 as an educational institution that combines expertise, theoretical, and practical knowledge, in training courses covering various fields of communications studies. The institute aims to enhance the media industry in the Arab world and globally and collaborates with a group of international institutions to provide training programs at the highest levels. The institute creates new methods based on its experience in the field of media training and development, as well as the experience of the Al Jazeera network.
