Al Jazeera Media Institute and the Arab Educational Training Center for Gulf States signed a cooperation agreement at the Institute's headquarters on Tuesday, 3rd October 2023, focusing on the implementation of media services.

The agreement was signed by Mrs. Eman Al-Amri, the Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute, and Dr. Fatma Al-Maadheed on behalf of the Arab Educational Training Center for Gulf States.

Eman Al-Amri, the Director of the Institute, welcomed the signing of this agreement, considering it a positive step in the context of enhancing collaboration between the two institutions.

She emphasised that both the Institute and the Center share common goals and values, particularly in the importance of investing in human capital, especially at the educational and instructional level.

Dr. Fatma Al-Maadheed, the Director of the Arab Centre for Educational Training for Gulf States, commented, "We are pleased to sign this agreement with Al Jazeera Media Institute, as the Institute is a very strong partner in this endeavour".

She pointed out that the Center specialises in educational training, offering courses to the Ministries of Education in the six Gulf states, in addition to Yemen.

The terms of the agreement include the exchange of events, activities, workshops and joint training courses based on expertise and experiences.

The agreement also offers the potential to implement other programs aligned with cooperative goals, in addition to training personnel on essential media skills necessary for successful communication with the media and professional on-camera appearances.

It is worth noting that the Arab Educational Training Center for Gulf States was established in 2001 and is headquartered in Doha, Qatar.

It is one of the bodies of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS), based in Riyadh, and is a non-profit institution.

The Center contributes to the training of educational leaders within the Ministries of Education on scientific and methodological bases.

It offers societal training programs and high-level training services with the aim of improving performance, increasing productivity and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of educational institutions for its member states.
