Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative qualifies 40 trainees in a workshop and a course

Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative of Al Jazeera Media Institute's continues efforts of developing capabilities of young media professionals, as it recently concluded a workshop in Istanbul and a specialized course in Doha with a total participation of forty trainees of different nationalities.
In Doha, the initiative held a specialized course in mobile journalism, in cooperation with “Education Above All Foundation”, for 15 trainees. The course lasted 15 hours over three days, and focused on developing capabilities of participants on producing press materials using smartphones.
Trainer Nadim Al-Mallah stressed that this course represents only a small part of initiatives of Al Jazeera Ambassadors dedicated to those coming from Gaza Strip, and it aims to develop content they produce, whether it is related to human rights or documenting events in Gaza Strip. He pointed out that the course focused on tools that help in mobile photography and its importance in improving final media product quality before directed to the public.
In the same context, journalist and blogger Ali Aburezq, in cooperation with Palestinian Media Professionals Association in Turkey, supervised “Palestinian content creation” workshop for 25 male and female trainees. The workshop aimed to develop skills of trainees in order to produce impactful content on Palestinian issue and to enhance their media presence on various platforms.
These events come as a part of Al Jazeera Media Institute's efforts to enhance efficiency of young media professionals and in order to keep pace with technical developments in modern media industry.
