Al Jazeera Conference for “Artificial Intelligence in Media” wins seven International Platinum Awards

AJMI - Doha

Artificial Intelligence in Media Conference, organized by Al Jazeera Media Institute earlier this year, has been honored with seven prestigious Platinum Awards in three international competitions specializing in media and communication as follows: Hermes Creative Awards, Dot Comm Awards and AVA Digital Awards.

This recognition comes as a tribute to the excellence of the conference and its accompanying initiatives and reinforcing its status as one of the most prominent media events both regionally and globally.

The conference received three Platinum Awards from Hermes Creative Awards in the categories of: Team Achievement, Conference, and Strategic Campaigns, in addition to three awards from Dot Comm Awards in recognition of the efforts of the Institute in developing digital campaigns and engagement across platforms. The conference also won a Platinum Award from the AVA Digital Awards, which celebrate innovation in digital communication.

In this regard, Director of the Al Jazeera Media Institute, Eman Al-Amri, emphasized that this achievement represents recognition for dedication of work teams to quality and innovation, noting that the conference has become a key platform for discussing media transformations in the age of artificial intelligence.

The conference’s most recent edition, held on January 11–12, was supported by a group of strategic partners, including Google Cloud as the exclusive partner, Qatar Media City as a main partner, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Qatar as a strategic partner, along with prominent sponsors such as Vodafone, NTT Data, Zetop CDP, ASUS Business, Al-Muftah Group and Cisco. This support contributed to strengthening the role of the conference as a bridge between media expertise and global technological innovation.
