Al-Jazeera Media Institute celebrates graduation of the first batch of Media Presence Diploma

Al-Jazeera Media Institute celebrated last Thursday graduation of the first batch of the Media Presence Diploma. The ceremony was held in the lobby of the Institute in presence of both trainers and participants, where eight trainees, who successfully completed the diploma requirements, were honored.
On this occasion, Mr. Hamad Al-Houl Director of Planning and Projects Department, congratulated trainees on their graduation and hailed their great effort which was reflected by the intensive practical training they have gone through during the diploma period, and wished them all the success in their careers.
Trainer Ali Al Ajmi said: "It was my pleasure to participate in this diploma and train mass communication part and skills needed to achieve successful and effective communication. We focused on distinction between communication and media and reviewed theories of mass communication and their important role in shaping ideas and changing convictions."
Journalist Ahmed Fakhoury said “trainees have received intensive training on proper pronunciation and effective media performance, and learned body language skills which proved to have a great impact on developing their media presence. He added, " trainees were able to deal professionally with media questions during various interviews they underwent."
This diploma comes as a part of Al-Jazeera Media Institute's efforts and endeavors to enhance media presence skills and upgrading capabilities of media cadres to the required professional levels.
