As part of strengthening international partnerships, Al Jazeera Media Institute welcomed a high-level delegation from China’s Mango TV Platform, one of the largest digital broadcasting platforms in Asia, at its headquarters on Sunday, September 7.

During the meeting, which brought together the Institute’s management and leadership with the visiting delegation, the Institute presented an overview of its training programs and services offered since its establishment in 2004, aimed at developing media competencies regionally and internationally. Mango TV Platform delegation, in turn, highlighted the platform’s journey and successes in the field of digital and entertainment media in China.

The meeting was marked by a constructive exchange of ideas and media discussions, where both parties addressed the main challenges and opportunities in contemporary media landscape, in addition to exploring possibilities of organizing joint workshops, training programs and production initiatives in the future.

This visit falls within the efforts of both parties to explore opportunities for cooperation and exchange of expertise in the fields of digital media and content creation, in line with Al Jazeera Media Institute’s commitment to expanding its international partnerships and building bridges with global media organizations.

It is worth noting that Mango TV Platform is considered one of China’s leading digital platforms specializing in online video broadcasting. It’s established in 2006 and owned by Hunan Broadcasting System, one of the largest and most prominent regional television networks in China.
