During July, Al Jazeera Media Institute launched three specialized courses for young learners, two in Arabic language and one in English language, with total participation of 30 boys and girls.

Dr. Rania Al-Jamal led the Young Entrepreneur course, attended by 13 children. The program was designed to nurture entrepreneurial thinking while introducing participants to fundamentals of building ventures and transforming ideas into innovative solutions.

Dr. Al-Jamal explained that participants were introduced to foundations of the business world, from creating brand identity and designing logos to conducting market research, developing marketing and sales strategies, and producing products and services that solve real-world challenges and respond to market needs. The trainer noted that what impressed her most was not only skills that the children acquired, but also their enthusiasm and remarkable entrepreneurial mindset despite their young age. “Participants proved that entrepreneurship is not defined by age,” she said, “but by ideas, determination, and a genuine passion for learning and growth”.

The course concluded with presentations in which children showcased their innovative projects, including a smart coat capable of cooling or warming as needed, personalized bracelets created by a team of girls, and an ultra-light sports shoe designed to provide greater comfort and enable faster, more efficient walking.

The course also welcomed Mr. Ashraf Abu Issa, who remarked: “The Young Entrepreneur course provided an inspiring platform for participants to showcase their ideas, creativity, and communication skills. The children delivered outstanding presentations and engaged in a rich discussion that reflected their confidence and eagerness to learn”.

In the same context, the Institute organized a Mobile Phone Photography course for young learners, delivered by trainer Eyad Al-Dawood and attended by seven participants. The course introduced fundamentals of smartphone photography, visual content production, and techniques for producing content suitable for publication across digital platforms. Trainee Mohammed Al Dhiab praised the trainer, saying: “He has complete command of the subject matter and a clear ability to communicate it effectively. The training content was well structured, engaging, and presented with excellent clarity”.

As part of its English-language programs, the Institute also concluded “Future Presenter” course, delivered by Dr. Rania Al-Jamal for ten young participants. The program focused on developing presentation and public speaking skills, building confidence in front of the camera, and boosting English communication skills in media environments.

These courses form part of Al Jazeera Media Institute’s ongoing youth development programs, which aim to cultivate creative thinking, equip young people with practical skills, and building their self-confidence, helping prepare a new generation capable of transforming ideas into impactful initiatives and successful projects.
