Graduation of 11 young spokespersons in “Junior Spokesperson Course” held at AJMI

Al Jazeera Media Institute, in the presence of Hamad Al-Marri, Director of Planning and Projects Department at the Institute along with some parents of the trainees, graduated eleven junior trainees who attended “Junior Spokesperson" course, which led journalist trainer Ahmed Al-Maliki.

Al_Malki said: “This group was distinguished by its enthusiasm to learn and practice skills of elocution and diction, and I noticed the high self-confidence they showed in their own presentations for graduation projects. I also felt that the group was in love of what they were learning, I touched that in their interest, diligence, questions and their timely involvement in the intensive exercises and practices during the course.

In the three-day course, the trainer was keen to enable the participants to speak fluently and express themselves effectively and strongly, and to provide them with the skills and qualities they need to be good speakers, he also helped them to get rid of stress, fears and negative feelings that prevent them from speaking, as well as providing them with the basic skills of presentation and good preparation and introduced them to the basics and importance of clear voice and body language.

The trainee, Alaa Mohammed, praised the course and said: “I advise everyone to join this course, especially those who want to work in the media in future, because you will touch the impact of this course on  your personal performance, as it may benefit you in presentations at school or in big events and moreover give you skills of discovering and learning different experiences to expand your horizons.
