On Saturday evening, February 15, Al Jazeera Media Institute is going to launch at its headquarters the latest of its training programs under the title "Producing podcast short audio stories”, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., led by trainer Amal Al Arissi as part of training workshops program.

The importance of this workshop stems from the growing popularity of podcast as a digital media platform, and the role of short audio stories in attracting listeners and delivering concise and impactful content in a short time.

The workshop includes an introduction to podcast world and characteristics of short audio stories, developing and writing ideas in a concise narrative style, in addition to basics of recording and simple audio processing, with intentional focus on voice performance skills such as breathing, tone, and expression.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to write an engaging short narrative script for a podcast episode, record and process audio to produce a well-crafted short episode. Participants are going to receive at the end of the workshop a certificate of participation from Al Jazeera Media Institute. Participation is open for everyone possesses basic knowledge in audio recording applications.
