Within the activities of Summer Camp organized by Al Jazeera Media Institute, the Institute will hold for the first time a Talk Show presentation course for young people (in the evening) from 9 to 11 of next July.

The course will target age group between 8 and 12, with the aim to enable trainees to acquire the most important skills needed to present a simple talk show program and to help trainees to improve their communication abilities, develop their skills in dialogue and discussion, and enhance their self-confidence when standing in front of camera.

Course topics will include an introduction to talk shows, their importance, studio components and studio technical staff in addition to how to choose and write the idea, focusing on skills of dialogue and discussion management and other relevant issues such as how to deal with a guest and methods of effective discussion, types of questions and how to prepare interview questions and the most important techniques of asking questions and techniques for moving between questions and guests.

At the end of the course, trainees will master basics of communication and talk shows presentation, how to prepare appropriate questions and use professional questioning techniques.
