Al Jazeera Media Institute and the Ministry of Municipality signed on Tuesday, February 7, a memorandum of understanding on developing the skills of the ministry's human cadres and empowering them with various media skills.

The MoU was signed by Eman Al Ameri, Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute, and Farida Ahmed Al Raisi, Director of the Training Department at the Ministry, in the presence of officials from both sides.

Al Ameri expressed her happiness with the signing of the memorandum of understanding, noting that cooperation was preceded several years ago between the Ministry and the Institute, where training courses were held to develop the media communication skills of the Ministry's leaders, considering that this agreement is the beginning of enhancing further cooperation in the future.

For her part, Farida praised the partnership with Al Jazeera Media Network, represented by Al Jazeera Media Institute, and the start of preparations for an agreement on holding training courses for the cadres of the Ministry of Municipality.

This MoU aims to establish a framework for continuous media cooperation between the two sides, especially in the field of training and development, as the Ministry of Municipality is keen to develop its media cadres and raise their professional efficiency, especially in media appearances, and to benefit from the expertise, capabilities of the Institute in the media field, especially since Al Jazeera Media Network is considered the first media institution in Qatar and at the level of the Arab world, as well as at the global level. The memorandum is limited to a three-year time frame for media training.
