A Student Delegation from the American University of Paris Visits AJMI

A student delegation from the American University of Paris (AUPAR) visited Aljazeera Media Institute on Wednesday (March 13th) as part of a cultural trip organized by the American University of Paris (AUPAR) to Qatar.

During the visit, the delegation listened to a detailed presentation by colleague Jana Al-Muslimani on the role of Aljazeera Media Institute in training journalists and those interested in the field of media in addition to employment of new methods and tools in news verification.

And to the same extent, Dr. Ibrahim Mansour from the Media Initiatives Department, briefed the delegation on the role of the Institute in teaching Arabic language through agile educational content and simple techniques.

Students also toured television and radio studios and were given the opportunity to practice reading news from the studio. Hazem Hegazy from the Technical Operation Department told students about components of television studio, including auto-cameras, types of light used in television studio and other relevant issues.

Also, Mohammed Rafiq from Planning and Projects Department shed light on the most prominent courses held at Ali Al-Jaber Hall (Photography Hall), mentioning some specialized training courses in the field of photography and creativity.

From their side, students showed remarkable interest in what they have heard and see during the tour, and stressed that their practical experience in Aljazeera studios is an amazing one, expressing their satisfaction for the value and importance of information they learned on this tour.
