Al Jazeera Media Institute administration welcomed the Syrian Minister of information, Mr. Hamza Al-Mustafa, last week, where he was briefed on training programs and initiatives of the Institute that specialized in developing Arab media competencies.

This visit comes within the framework of enhancing media cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two parties, as part of an effort to develop media performance in Syria by benefiting from accumulated expertise and knowledge provided by the Institute.

The two sides expressed their aspiration that this visit will contribute to opening new horizons for media cooperation and development of professional skills, stressing importance of exchanging experience and learning about the best practices to advance the Arab media sector in order to keep pace with the rapid developments in this field.
