On Monday evening, December 11, Al Jazeera Media Institute hosted Mr. Nayef Saleh Al-Bakri, Minister of Youth and Sports of Yemen.

For his part, Al-Bakri said: "I am happy with my visit to a professional media institution such as Al Jazeera Media Institute and the discussions we held, and we look forward to wider horizons and cooperation with the Institute."

During the meeting, the Yemeni minister got acquainted with the Institute's experience in the fields of training and development and the effectiveness of media training and education at the level of media cadres in the Arab region.

The visit is in line with the Institute's strategy to strengthen local or regional partnerships.
