Bio
Thorsten Schütte has worked as a writer, director, and producer in documentary filmmaking for over 30 years. He has created and directed numerous films, television productions, and series—including World Jazz, Trip to Brazil, Namibia Generation X, Land Matters, Eat That Question, The Forgotten, and Why We Play—for a wide range of broadcasters, distributors, and international sales platforms such as ZDF, Arte, VPRO, Discovery, Sony, and NBC.

- Head of Documentary & Fiction Department at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Germany - (2002 - Present). - Freelance trainer at Al Jazeera Media Institute, Goethe-Institut (Pune, India), College of the Arts (Windhoek, Namibia) - (2013 - Present. - Artistic Director of Stolen Moments (Namibia), showcased internationally and now permanently at the Independence Memorial Museum, Windhoek - (2016).
