Bio

Samir has over 20 years of experience in the field of media, primarily focused on digital media skills. He won the second-best short documentary award at the Gulf Film Festival in Dubai. His journalism experience spans from being a reporter, producer, photographer, and director, with hundreds of reports conducted in various countries including Yemen, Syria, Qatar, Pakistan, and Oman.

Experience

1. He served as a versatile journalist, covering roles such as reporter, photographer, and editor at the Al Jazeera Muscat bureau. 2. From 2010 to 2017, he worked as a war correspondent, photographer, senior editor, and broadcast engineer at the Al Jazeera Yemen office. 3. He has an extensive portfolio of producing, directing, filming, and editing numerous reports and programs for Al Jazeera across Yemen, Syria, Qatar, Oman, and Pakistan. 4. He has actively participated in various training courses focusing on photography, editing, and directing.
