Michael Rickwood is an Executive Communication Coach, facilitator, and founder of Vortolo, a consultancy helping leaders, founders, and experts communicate effectively in high-stakes situations and in the AI era. Trained as a professional actor at Drama Centre London, he transitioned into business communication in 2011 and has over a decade of experience coaching executives and leadership teams across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. He has worked with organisations including the World Bank, Al Jazeera, ENGIE, Qwant, and Monnoyeur, and teaches communication at institutions such as HEC Paris and CELSA-Sorbonne University. He also supports startups through accelerator programs like Schoolab and Le Perqo, focusing on investor pitches, messaging, and executive presence. Additionally, he has moderated major tech events including VivaTech in Paris.
