Liqaa Maki holds a PhD in Media and is a journalist with nearly forty years of experience. He has served as a political analyst on Al Jazeera since 2003. He possesses extensive training expertise in journalistic arts, political discourse, and political analysis. In the 1990s, he trained at the Al-Tadamun School for Journalists under the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, and he later delivered numerous training programs for organizations and activists in mass communication and media campaigning. Liqaa Maki received the “Best Iraqi Journalist” medal from the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate in 1996, the “First Professor” award from the University of Baghdad in 2001, and the “Aalim” medal from the AREED platform for Arab researchers. His experience combines an academic background specialized in political propaganda with extensive professional journalism, making him highly qualified in preparing and developing professional media cadres in the field of political communication.
