Bio
Yousra El Asri has worked in journalism for over 15 years. She began her career in print journalism and report production in Morocco, before joining Al Jazeera in 2014. She worked as an interactive producer at Al Jazeera Mubasher, covering live events, and later moved to the digital division where she helped co-found “Al Jazeera Snapchat” with her colleagues. She also served as a producer in the investigative journalism unit before moving to the digital newsroom, where she took part in launching "Ejaz", the first digital news bulletin in the Arab world. She later became the lead producer and was editorially in charge of “Al Jazeera Instagram” for three years.
