Khadija Bengana is one of the most prominent media figures in the Arab world and a founding member of Al Jazeera Channel. She has hosted several successful programs on Al Jazeera, including Behind the News, The Stream of the Revolution, and Sharia and Life. Throughout her career, she has conducted high-profile interviews with key political leaders, including the late Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, former Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki, and former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. In 2006, Forbes ranked her among the top ten most influential women in the Arab world. In 2015, she was named the "Inspiring Arab Media Figure" by CNN.
