Bio

Raghda Jamal is a Yemeni journalist and poet who began writing in the cultural and artistic fields in late 2008. Her work has been published in various Yemeni and Arab newspapers and magazines. She is the author of the first English-language poetry collection by a Yemeni female poet, in addition to a second poetry release. In 2022, she published her novel "Al-Khaymah" (The Tent). Since 2020, she has been a trainer in creative writing and storytelling. She is currently responsible of the "Al Jazeera Ambassadors" initiative at the Al Jazeera Media Institute.
