Bio
Ahmad Taha began working with Al Jazeera Network in 2011 in Cairo, which allowed him to cover many of the key events that followed the Egyptian revolution, including the constitutional referendum, the first parliamentary and presidential elections after the revolution, as well as the period leading up to the military coup in Egypt. In 2013, he moved to work from Doha, during which he contributed to covering major events such as Tunisia’s first presidential election. He later covered the Sudanese revolution and conducted numerous interviews with Sudanese officials who assumed power after the uprising, most notably his interview with General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Council.
