Bio
A prominent journalist at Al Jazeera since 2002, she has worked extensively at the network's headquarters in Doha. In addition to her work in the newsroom and preparing daily news reports, she has contributed to major political programs such as "Ma Waea'a Alkhabr," "Hadeth Thawra," and others. She has served as a correspondent in several countries and regions, most notably in Iraq and Syria during wartime. She has also had a rich and ongoing experience in Afghanistan. Her coverage has expanded to include Kurdistan, Sudan, South Sudan, Russia, Tajikistan, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Her focus in conflict zones has been on human stories and the impact of conflict on civilians. Before joining Al Jazeera, she spent more than seven years as a field correspondent for Algerian television, covering domestic and international events in countries including India, Germany, France, Russia, Nigeria, and the United States.
Experience
- She participated in several lectures to discuss her journalism experience with Al Jazeera, particularly in conflict zones. - She contributed alongside prominent Al Jazeera journalists to the preparation of two books; the first: *Television Journalism in Al Jazeera's Experience*, and the second: *Al Jazeera Tells Its Story: Experiences and Challenges*. She also contributed to the first issue of the new format of the Qatar Red Crescent magazine with an article about covering stories of refugees and displacement in war zones. - She benefited from several training courses, including at Cirnea School in Paris and KBS in South Korea.
